Dr Jameela Abdul Haq (BDS, MSc)

Dr Jameela Abdul Haq is a renowned and emerging young specialist pediatric dentist. She is one of the very few Pakistani female dentists who have been trained internationally in the field of preventive, pediatric, and special needs dentistry. After completing her bachelors and clinical training from University Dental Hospital, Sharjah (UAE) – one of the Arab region’s most profound institutions – she is currently pursuing her specialization in the field of Preventive & Pediatric Dentistry in Germany. She is an active member of German Association of Pediatric Dentistry, European Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry and EC Dental Science Society. Dr Haq has been the Middle East Ambassador of the Pakistan Dental Community, Board of Director of Gulf Young Dentists Association, Community Service Officer at University of Sharjah Dental Association, Deputy Exchange officer of Indian Dental Student Association, Founding Chairperson of the Youth Forum Dubai and chaired various other positions. Alongside medical education, community health development has always been a passion for Dr Haq. Involved at various levels and in various capacities with organizations such as Dubai Cares, Operation Smiles, Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, Volunteer in Dubai, Dubai Autism Centre, and Community Development Authority Dubai, she has been instrumental in paving new paths to use her professional skills for the benefit of the community. Hence winning the Youth Award by the Ambassador of Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates. The unique combination of preventive, pediatric, and special needs dentistry allows Dr. Haq to promote the concept of community based dentistry involving advanced clinical skills, latest research methodologies, and health promotion programs for all.
